LoC tension: Unprovoked firing by Indian troops injures civilian

MUZAFFARABAD:
Indian troops continued unprovoked shelling in Forward Kahuta sector’s Nezapir Keerni area on the Line of Control (LoC), some 150 kilometers from Muzaffarabad, and injured a civilian in the early hours of Tuesday. 

A house was also damaged in the area, the local administration and police confirmed while talking to The Express Tribune.


India has been violating the ceasefire on the Line of Control for the last four weeks. On Monday Indian troops opened fire injuring six civilian in Nakyal sector’s Turkandi area, some 200 kilometers off south of Muzaffarabad, the capital city of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

The Pakistani troops, in retaliation, opened fire. Both the countries are continue to blame each other for violating the ceasefire agreement.
