MULTAN: Three robbers were killed in a shootout with the police early Monday morning. Qutabpur SHO Muhammad Sarwar told newsmen that five men were stopped at a picket at Naag Shah Chowk. The men, tried to flee and the police chased them. Sarwar said the suspects started shooting at the police during the chase. Three men were killed when the police returned fire. One of them was identified as Altaf alias Tafi, a proclaimed offender wanted in murder and robbery cases.
