Go Green: Turning parks into solar energy systems
DMC East Karachi plans to save energy by introducing solar systems in all family parks of district east.
KARACHI:
District Municipal Corporation (DMC) East Karachi has come up with a strategy to save energy by converting all family parks of district east into solar energy system. In the first phase, LED lights will be installed at all family parks of the district and two family parks of each zone will be connected to solar energy system. This was said by Baldia East municipal commissioner, Kamal Mustafa, while briefing Muttahida Qaumi Movement MPA Nishat Mohammad Zia Qadri on his visit to the Nasir Hussain Shaheed and Quaid Family Parks in Shah Faisal Colony.
