Responding to Pakistan's target of 180 runs, Zimbabwe got off to a slow but good start with Vusi Sibanda and Hamilton Masakadza steadily taking the team to 50 runs. But after Sibanda fell in the seventh over, Zimbabwe quickly lost captain Brendan Taylor with the score just 57.
Despite the setback, Sean Williams and Elton Chigumbura though managed to revive the Zimbabwean innings. But Chigumbura, who scored 35, could never get enough runs quick enough to give Zimbabwe a good chance of winning the match.
For Pakistan, captain Mohammad Hafeez was the pick of the bowlers by claiming three scalps from his four overs, despite conceding 30 runs. Zulfiqar Babar too chipped in with two wickets from his four overs, conceding just 21 runs. Anwar Ali also picked up a wicket.
Pakistan Cricket Board interim chairman also commended the team on their performance.

india tour zimbabwe earlier icc can plan for the triseries
Zimbabwe shows better performance or substandard performance by Pak ??? Reply please I don't Understand it.
Why play the likes of Hafeez, Afridi and Ajmal.. it's Zimbabwe for God Sake, follow what the Indians are doing and 2nd youngsters or 2nd stringers only for series like these... What are the youngsters gonna learn when all three senior players are bowlers and 2 of them are our main batters.
Nothing to be Happy about... It's Zimbabwe!
Ahmed Shahzad should have scored his century. Overall not impressive bowling by Pak quick bowlers. Zimbabwe scoring 160 in a T20 without loosing all wickets, is definetly not impressive at all.
