The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced the result for most of the constituencies and PML-N is leading just like the general elections, with Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf coming second and third respectively.
The election authorities withheld results for two constituencies of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa where women were reportedly disfranchised.
PML-N has secured five NA seats, 11 Punjab assembly seats and two Balochistan assembly seats. While PPP one three NA seats, two Punjab assembly seats and one in Sindh assembly.
PTI on the other hand won two seats in the Centre.

@Adnan Siddiqi: First of all it isn't a race between Pml n and Pti. Secondly Pml n won most of it's own seats back but Pti won all new seats but i guess you and all the other narrow minded supporters of the other mentioned parties can't see beyond your hate filled minds.
PML-N won 5 NA seats, 11 Punjab assembly seats and 2 Balochistan assembly seats. PTI secured 2 NA seats and 2 seats in Punjab assembly. It is clear that Nawaz Sharif emerged victorious against Imran Khan.
@Dj:
Being a hater is one thing but being being a brainless hater is pure sin!! Just how did you deduce that anyone supporting ANP, JUI-F and PML-N have the bulk of illiterate voters/supporters? As for media fooling around with such voters, the fact is that PML-N won 18 seats overall and PTI won only 6. If this isn't classified as a "loss" for PTI than what is?
@PML-N: I wonder if education has to do something with narrow mindedness. PTI can be a great case study for this question.
I am Masters in Economics and I did not vote for PTI. As per stance of PTI fans, I am illiterate.
@Dr.sherazi: nobody said that ppp was illiterate. Infact Benazir and Z.A Bhutto were the most educated leaders Pakistan ever had but its parties like Anp,Jui-F and Pml n which has the bulk of illiterate voters. Just see how easily the media fooled them. PTI won 6 seats and lost two and they are saying that Pti lost.
EAST OR WEST NAWAZ SHARIF IS THE BEST
PMLN have a more capable and efficient team as compared to PTI , that's why PTI is suffering in KPK before election imran khan stated in dhobi ghat faisalabad that he"ll never go to collition and now they in collition in KPK Any one can see khan's dhobi ghatt speech before general election for conformation.
My best wishes and prayers for PAKISTAN and PML-N.
No sane man can vote for PTI.
@imran: Please show sportsman spirit. Shame for PTI supporters who are still full of proud.
The US CENTCOM’s Digital Engagement Team, commends the Pakistani nation on their recent completion of the by-elections. This is another step towards the process of strengthening democracy. We congratulate the winners in these by-elections and look forward to working with a strong democratic Pakistan.
Abdul Quddus DET-United States Central Command
PML(N) is better than PTI.
PTI should search for another general pasha. it was only establishment who brought people to PTI from other parties. Allah bless my country.
I salute the politics of nawaz sharif. I never liked imran khan. he does not want to change the system; rather he wants to derail the system.
Will Imran Khan congratulate PML-n? I beleieve "NO".
Can some erudite and "Educated" follower of Imran David Koresh Khan care to enlighten as what does Ayla Malik possess which made IK compelled to dance to her tunes, no matter how unreasonable she was and ultimately led to IK's supreme humiliation in his own native constituency?
@Sonya:
Couldn't agree more Sonya Ji! Assimilating quality education and developing a sense of logic and common sense would definitely prevent some folks from wasting time on Facebook and Social Media and blindly following a cult of a phony revolutionary.
WILL IMRAN ISSUE A NEW WHITE PAPER OF 400 PAGES NOW? THERE WAS NO RIGGING ON 11TH MAY. PTI WAS REJECTED BY PAKISTANIS. IMRAN TRIED TO MAKE THE ELECTIONS DISPUTED.
As some wise Punjabi intellect penned this quote once which today's sits rather nicely on the knucklehead brigade of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Troll:
HUN ARAAM AAI
:D
IK should try to learn something from nawaz sharif. nawaz sharif is the most humble, matured and experienced politician. i voted for pml-n with my family and i am satisfied on it.
ALLAH does not like proud. PTI fans are very proud. they believe that all those are uneducated who do not vote for PTI. it is due to their proud that PTI sucked the dust today.
on may 11, only electables of PTI won in Punjab. That was not the vote bank of PTI. That was vote bank of those big personalities who joined PTI. It is enough if any one wants to understand. PML(N) won because youth voted for it. PTI lost because youth rejected it.
PTI is the party of those people who left their parties and joined PTI just for possible material gains in future. All the game was planned by General Pasha. PTI is coming down and down after retirement of mr. pasha. Imran gathered all corrupt politicians from other parties. All these corrupt became pious after joining PTI under the slogan of change. All of these corrupt (who posed as pious) started fooling the nation alongwith IK. I salute the public of PAKISTAN who rejected these looters on 11th May. Now they did it again by defeating PTI in its home constituency. I am always surprised when I read rude comments of pti fans who dont consider others as human.
@Khan: I believe that only illiterate people can vote for PTI. Imran Khan always behaves like ignorant and illiterate. Same is the behaviour of his voters.
PTI lost those 2 big seats that were won by their party leader. It is a matter of very serious concern for PTI. I believe that responsible is Imran himself. He is continuously doing politics of hate and blame. He does not treat others as human.
So what???
Most of the by elections were won by PPP in the Golden period of Pakistan lead by Zardari... :p
Need neutral umpiring.......................Noon has all umpires, giving lbws to everyone
PML-(n) won due to decent language of Mian Nawaz Sharif. PTI lost due to dirty language of Imran Khan. There is a big difference between these 2 personalities. Best wishes for PML(n).
By elections are won by the party with power in centre. Its plain common sense. I fail to understand why others dont seem to see so....
PTI should show sportsman spirit and congratulate PML-N. But I believe that PTI is a group of narrow-minded people. They will never do so. Allah bless Pakistan.

@Razi: What about one destroying the manners of youth**
@Khan: Didn't the same voters chose IK I n Peshawar and mianwali. Literacy rate seems to be going down in just two months
There is one thing common between, PTI and JI they never accept election results
@aaaaa: They think education makes a man saner. But they way they emphasize this point, the impression about them builds exact opposite. Parhay likhay jahil.
@Razi: Anybody who thinks a single minister can 'destroy' a whole ministry in 5 years must most definitely be illiterate, or a PTI fan. Railway has been destroyed over decades, but particularly by the loss of its biggest revenue generating service: cargo transport, at the hand of NLC. Go look up who owns and runs NLC and get some education.
@razi people in different areas and circumstances have different priorities..... for you balor's incompetence as a railway minister is enough to reject him.... maybe for people living in peshawar this can be a minor thing.... they have their lives at stake my dear..... while i reckon you are safe...
For imran khan; "pride hath a fall"
PTI workers and supporters are very funny..... they have decided on their own who is illiterate and who is not.... those who vote for them are literate and those who dont are illiterate.... i am a doctor and i voted for PPP... now call me illiterate....
@Journalist A: Well if someone votes for a person who has destroyed Pakistan Railways then he must definitely be illiterate.
This just shows that there is only one loser =PTI. All other parties performed strongly in their areas. PTI which thought it had a vote bank everywhere lost from everywhere. PP 243 and 247 were won because of anger towards PMLN not love for PTI (remember Rajanpur gang incident). Karachi and Sinsh went to PPP and MQM again. There was no tsunami ever. Only Muslim shower with water running out.
@khan Agreed with journalist A when people of Peshawar elected IK, they were then educated and now when things happened other way, your attitude also changed abruptly yar come on. This was Ik who neglected peshawarities , they reacted the same .
@ModiFied: You are a fan of a person who single handedly destroyed pak raiways
@ModiFied: don't you think he should get railway back too?
Who needs foes if one is blessed with friends such as Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed. He is probably the one who advised Imran Khan to retain his Pindi seat (just to bar his arch rival Haneef Abbasi from rubbing shoulders with him in the parliament) while giving up his most crucial seat in Peshawar, the city that reposed its confidence in PTI and brought this immature party to power in KPK.
This whole episode is enough to prove Imran Khan's naivety and that he's not a politician, neither can he become one. What a waste.
In house wrangling cost PTI the seats the main culprit was PK chief minister
G Khan Birmingham Uk
Karachi and Mirpurkhas continue to retain their confidence in MQM. Army supervision in by-polls ensured minimal to zero rigging. Hence, prior PTI claims of overwhelming support from traditional MQM votebanks has been proven baseless.
I am a fan of Mr Ghulam Ahmad Bilour. I am so happy that he won.
This is exactly why education and literacy is being actively prevented in Pakistan.
@Khan: When they choose PTI they are educated and when they choose ANP they are illiterate.
@Sonya:
your arrogance is nauseating. learning to be humble will definitely do you plenty of good.
@Pashto Times: Please also classify the voters, illiterate voters will always choose such leaders. Salam.
Vote for PML N inspite of the recent speech to the nation is unbelievable. This is why we emphasis education for this nation.
its proved by Voters that there is a lot difference between PML adn PTI . PML N is far better then Imran Khan led dummy government in KPK
