Agp Case: LHC asks for more documents
The court adjourned the hearing and directed the petitioner to submit more documents.
LAHORE:
The Lahore High Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing of an amended petition against the appointment of Mustafa Ramday as acting advocate general. The court directed the petitioner to submit more documents. The single bench comprising Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan heard the petition filed by petitioner’s counsel Noshab AKhan. Earlier, the petitioner said Ramday did not meet the minimum age requirement for the post of advocate general. He said Ramday was 38 years old which was less than the required age of 45 years. He said that there was no difference in the qualification of an acting advocate general and an advocate general as per the apex court ruling.He asked the court to declare Ramday’s appointment illegal and unconstitutional. The court adjourned the hearing and directed the petitioner to submit more documents.
