Links with militants: Peshawar seminary administrator refutes US claims
These are baseless allegations, we are only engaged in teaching the Holy Quran and Sunnah: Madrassa administration.
PESHAWAR:
The administrator of the Jamia Taleemul Quran and Sunnah Ganj has refuted the claim of the US Finance Department that his religious seminary was involved in any type of militant activity or had links with militant outfits including al Qaeda.
“The US authorities should visit the seminary and see for themselves that it has nothing to do with militancy,” the madrassa’s administrator Muhammad Ibrahim said while talking to The Express Tribune on Wednesday.
“These are baseless allegations on this religious school which is only engaged in teaching the Holy Quran and Sunnah,” he said.
“If the US authorities have any proof in this regard then it should be shared with the media and the administration of this seminary otherwise the claim will be considered fabricated and without any foundation,” he said.
