Karachi Encounter: Suspected TTP commander held

The arrest was made after a shootout near Super Market area of the locality.

KARACHI: A suspected commander of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan was apprehended after an encounter with the police in Karachi’s Sohrab Goth locality on Wednesday.

The arrest was made after a shootout near Super Market area of the locality.

Sohrab Goth SHO Naeem Khan told The Express Tribune that the arrested accused belongs to the slain Sher Khan Mehsud group of the outlawed TTP.

He said the suspect was wanted by the police in a number of cases of terrorism and crime.
