RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday said that the government doesn't think twice before appointing leaders.
Speaking at a rally in Rawalpindi, he alleged that the National Assembly was full of criminals.
Lamenting at the fact that the country was steeped in heavy loans that were difficult to pay, he said that the problems in Pakistan weren't because the country didn't have enough resources.
In his earlier address to the public, PTI Chairman had said that he had asked for three months to deliver change in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa but a few weeks were still left.
He had also urged rally participants to vote for PTI candidate Gul Bacha for NA-1 during the by-elections, as Khan said that "we can't lose this seat."
NA-1 was earlier vacated by the PTI Chairman himself after he won three seats in the general elections.

@Maria Mamu ... Speaking of long term memory loss, why does not Khan Sahib talk about all the looted wealth and corruption of his own father? Look up the exploits of his dear father who was so out of control that he was not even tolerated by Bhutto (himself not an angel) who kicked him out for his outrageous corruption.
@ali ahmed: this is what democracy is. A leader of National Assembly and a Party leader will talk about local problems when he visit different area of Pakistan. Nawaz sharif talks about Loadshedding and terrorism because he does not know or care for problem face by people of locality. @shahid: What wisdom? Recently appointed cabinet is increasing the foreign loan and making it difficult any future repayment plans. We should be paying our taxes but 70 percent of National Assembly member did not pay their taxes. Shabaz Sharif and Nazaw Sharif are bank defaulters. Saad Rafique is a election rigger.
Imran looks much decent when he does not speak. He should rather focus on his promises in KPK. His model province still need to show some "change".
Imran Khan has lost his senses otherwise he would not have claimed himself & his PTI companions who are elected Members of National Assembly (MNA) as criminals.
If he's true about his statement then he himself & his companions must have to surrender their National Assembly membership, and afterwards head towards jail, by doing so his part of purifying National Assembly will be accomplished & the ratio of criminals will be decreased by 100%.

Imran Khan seems to be blunt koz , it seems that his hands are corruption less and may be koz he never been in power before.
What we people has to do to with the word maturity, if internally that matured politician is corrupt?, we need straight forward, blunt and clean leader.

@pakistani How can you want military intervention? Do you want mass bloodshed and revolution? Do you want to pick up thousands of bodies off the streets? Do you think followers of these political parties will go quietly without their military wings putting up a fight?

@umar: errr ... in case you haven't noticed we have had 4 military intervention for this specific purpose. there are corrupt elements in all governments all over the world. they are flushed out by sustained democracy, not military interventions.

Ik is at his best when he makes NO statements. The list of his shocking analyses of grave situations is long enough to publish a book of how NOT to react to a crisis situation or the grave problems Pakistan faces. When calling on Malala who was fighting for her life, at the hospital he declared he would not denounce the taliban for shooting her as he would put his and his party members' lives at risk! And so on..... what a shame that the sane people of his party can not control his shocking, insulting, immature, unreasonable, baseless verbal outbursts. He ought to be in KP ensuring his party does a good job rather than such nonsensical tantrums that even in a child are looked down upon....
What a useless allegation, he tells that our National Assembly is full of criminals, may we assume that includes the PTI members as well? @pakistani and all others wanting Army to intervene - NO NO NO, no army is needed to do any political stuff. All of todays issues is due to prolonged military rule. Army is not solution. Stay in barracks and defend country is their role and duty.
People need to go through cycles of choice and should be able to put right folks in to power slots. This will take time but Army interventions will just finish the country for good.
I am sure that someone sane in his party would remind him of this latest brain freeze and by tomorrow he would utter that its a common perception among Pakistanis that the assembly is full of criminals :D

Yep, IK is absolutely correct. I know being an insider, he knows very well about at least 28 of them. He is the master of generalizing stuff, for example if 4 constituencies have fake results then the rest of 268 also have dhandli. Keeping the same analogy, if all 28 of the members belonging to his party are criminals or fake degree holders then definitely the rest of the Parliament consists of criminals too.

This guy has now officially lost it. Never before has a politician been this immature. Instead of building up on his party's significant votes, this guy has just totally lost the plot.
