LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address the public at 8pm on Monday, reported Express News.
It was reported earlier today that Nawaz's address in Lahore was cancelled.
He is due to address the nation on issues such as national security policy, counter terrorism, energy, economy, and the regional situation.
Press Secretary to PM confirmed that the premier has a tentative schedule to address the nation on Monday. “Nawaz Sharif’s speech will not only be motivational but also be in the broader perspective,” he said.
According to sources, Nawaz after consulting the senior leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in a meeting decided to address the nation on the said issues before his visit to the United Nations and Turkey in the coming weeks.

Whatever the historical significance of "Takht-e-Lahore" is, a thoroughly discredited weasel like Babar Awan has absolutely no right to give a lesson on history.

This reminds me the critical statements of former law minister, Babar Awan against the past PML(N) rule in Punjab in which he often used the phrase "Takhat-e Lahore." What was the nature and significance of "Takhat-e Lahore" in the middle of 19th Century is for the students History to comment on?

Don't worry about upsetting a few or even many of those who threaten you or your government, we are all in it together and we, the people and their government, must face it together as well, unless you consider you and your government being other than us and our government. Did ever Nawaz Sharif cancel any of his scheduled meeting of 2013's elections' campaigns as cancelling now after becoming PM?Whereas he reached any where no matter he used his personal chopper to reach the committed meeting's venue and now not ready to speech on the TV.And if can't face the live camera then as usual government has to play his recorded address...
Taking too much time to find new words for old subject matter of PM Speech. Tall claims already have come to end end before 100 days. But we are still optimistic.
What an incapable PM we have, thank you all those who have voted for PML(N).
And I really miss Musharraf, who use to give us explanation on every government step, conducting press conference every week, answering the media's bitter questions, raising Pakistan's image internationally.
