In cold blood: Man clubbed to death

PASRUR: A labourer died on Sunday in Pasrur after being beaten up allegedly by an armed man. The deceased’s son, Muhammad Aamir, told Cantonment police that his father, Ghulam Mustafa, 55, was at his house in a suburb of Pasrur, when Muhammad Hafeez broke in and beat him up with a club and fled. He said Mustafa was taken to the tehsil headquarters hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police said some neighbours said that the deceased had quarrelled with the suspect the day before he was killed. The suspect has yet to be arrested.
