Pakistan Mission: Exploration of seabed resources
A Pakistani delegation presented the rights of exploration of seabed resources in an additional area of 50,000kms.
UNITED NATIONS:
A Pakistani delegation made a presentation before the Commission on the Limits of Continental Shelf that will provide Pakistan the rights of exploration and exploitation of seabed resources in an additional area of 50,000 square kilometres. The delegation, led by Federal Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology Akhlaq Ahmad Tarar, included representatives from the defence ministry, Pakistan Navy, Director-General of the National Institute of Oceanography and Project Director as well as the Pakistan Mission to the United Nations.
