SWABI:

The Awami National Party (ANP) has demanded the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to take strict notice of the use of government machinery by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ahead of the August 22 by-elections.

In a joint conference with the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl, ANP Provincial General Secretary Arbab Muhammad Tahir on Saturday alleged assembly speaker Asad Qaiser was using official vehicles for his brother’s election campaign in NA-13. He added Qaiser had promised to provide jobs to people of the area, which is in violation of
ECP rules.
