According to bomb disposal officials, a 200 gram homemade bomb placed in a hot pot had been placed by unidentified persons near the chief minister’s residence in Hayatabad, after which the bomb disposal squad had been immediately called to the scene.
Eye witnesses told police that men on two motorcycles drove past the area and had placed the bomb on a side road, after which the police immediately called the bomb disposal squad.
Police officials also arrived at the scene along with the disposal squad. Before defusing the bomb, the bomb disposal squad had the area cleared.
The bomb had been made from several materials that included ball bearings, the squad said. No time device, however, was found attached to the bomb.

My dear friend, it is my god given right to be a hater and post my negative observations on PTI whenever I deem appropriate. You should be taking up this matter with ET which considers my comments fit for publication.
As for 7 Khaandans, you might not want to look too far ahead and first finish off the Khaandani, Piri, Murshidi and Makhdoomi politics of Private Jet Tareen, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Makhdoon Javed Hashmi before setting off on a crusade to take off rest of the Khaadans from Pakistani politics. First set your own house in order.
@Adnan Siddiqi: And you would know how? Are you even aware of what is happening in Peshawar? Well, I can because I was posted there for a long time. Hayatabad (where the CM lives) is close to Bara, which is a part of the Khyber tribal agency and incase you've been sleeping for the past 10 years, is ground zero for the massive insurgency plaguing the country. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. Politicking while people endlessly suffer. No wonder this country will never progress, people are too quick to blame others before looking at themselves. In any other decent society you comments would be met with rounded disapproval for the level of apathy you have shown towards a tough situation. If you can't conduct yourself respectfully then keep your rubbish conspiratorial comments to yourself.

If it was a farmaishee news then they could have placed the bomb in a plastic bag. It would not have been so hard from them. You ppl will always criticize. But PTI will succeed and finish of the khandani politics of 7 Khandans.
Oh please that was a Kilometer away from his residence with only 300 grams in a hot pot. Seems more like a drama.
For the life of it, I am still trying to fathom as to who in his right frame of mind would place a bomb inside a "Hot Pot!!!" This clearly seems like a "Farmaishee" news to me which is being disseminated at the behest of PTI.
So PTI keep your policy of appeasement towards these TTP snakes. But dont forget snake will bite you on its own will even if you raised him or fed him for years.
