Jamia Binoria cleric gunned down in Karachi

Teacher of the seminary gunned down by unidentified bike riders at Naurus Chorangi.

KARACHI: A teacher of Jamia Binoria Alamia in SITE Town, Karachi, was gunned down by unidentified bike riders at Naurus Chorangi.

Sheikhul Hadith, Maulana Muhammad Ameen was ambushed when he was going back from a meeting to the university.

Mufti Naeem, the administrator of Jamia Binoria Alamia, condemned the brutal killing of Maulana Muhammad Ameen.

Maulana Muhammad Ameen was previously associated with the banned Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan. However, 10 years back, in a press conference he withdrew his affiliations with the sectarian organisation.

Maulana Muhammad Ameen was amongst the top-Sunni clerics in the country.

His body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in Karachi for medico-legal formalities.
