Police battle dacoits in Karachi, 3 policemen killed

An operation was conducted near Safari Park in the Madu Goth area of Karachi which resulted in the death of three policemen, Express News reported.
DSP Qasim Ghauri, ASI Asif and another officer succumbed to their injuries due to an exchange of fire between the suspected militants and policemen.
According to SP Imran Shaukat, three dacoits were killed and no arrests were made.
Two SHO's were injured during the operation and are in the hospital for treatment.
Rangers and the Quick Response Force (QRF) were called in to assist with the operation. Sindh police also asked for army helicopters to investigate the scenario from the top.
"We will continue this till we do a house-to-house search and clean up the area", said SP Shaukat.
