The Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi wrote a letter to India stating that security at PIA offices needed to be tightened after it allegedly received threats of an attack.
The Pakistan High Commission and the PIA had been receiving threats on PIA flights flying to Mumbai and New Delhi via pamphlets released by terrorist groups operating in India, Express News correspondent Khalid Mehmood reported.
Relations between the two countries have remained strained recently due to the claims for the 2003 ceasefire violation from both countries.
Previously, supporters of the Congress Party’s Youth Wing had attacked the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi on August 7.
The Lahore bound bus, Dosti bus, which was on its way from New Delhi was stopped by protesters in Amritsar on August 10.

@Rabbani: "No wonder, India is forever ready to put blame on Pakistan." +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ You obviously meant to say : No wonder, India is forever ready to put blame on innocent Pakistan.
I pray to God, no Samjhuta Express or Mumbai-attacks like situation takes place there. No wonder, India is forever ready to put blame on Pakistan.
So pakistan is making everything political now! Show some maturity dear neighbors, you dont want to draw a fitting reply from our minister. Its time to calm down things and talk instead of giving news statements.
so wat should we do close down the whle area like u ppl did in islamabad airport,,cmmn everybdy knw a general public in india is safer than a pakistani minister,,courtesy-home grown fanatics of yours
They are getting more security than any citizen of Pakistan.
@ModiFied: Yes, you are correct. Pamphlet pics would have been better. By the way its not a Pakistani Airport. Anyone with a little knowledge about Pakistan should know by looking at the picture that the ground support staff and ground equipment is not Pakistani; Two items are very clearly visible;
"The Pakistan High Commission and the PIA had been receiving threats on PIA flights flying to Mumbai and New Delhi via pamphlets released by terrorist groups operating in India, Express News correspondent Khalid Mehmood reported."
Good journalism would have been to show the picture of pamphlets received by PIA and Pakistan High Commission and not the PIA plane at some Pakistani airport. Any idea which so called Indian terrorist group issued these pamphlets?
Funny isnt it that our country's airlines is getting threats from a foreign country while Pakistanis here are busy making fun of the situation. If this would have been an Indian newspaper with the headline that Air India is unsafe in Pakistan, their media and people would have heavily criticized Pakistan but in Pakistan we are making our own fun and we are least bothered about the safety of PIA office.
Can we have another cease fire like Hudaiba ?
@Paki: "21st century is about to end "
Yep. Madarsa math. For the rest of us - still 87 more years to go.
@Indian: Not when India is acutely suffering from small man syndrome.
PIA offices In Delhi and Mumbai are safer than the Pakistan Prime minister's office in Islamabad.
@Polpot:
“Pakistan asks India to tighten security at PIA offices in Delhi, Mumbai +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Alsi in Karachi Islamabad Quetta etc etc.
This comment is too good.
@Paki Still 87 years more to go for the 21st century to end. Its a RAW, CIA, MOSSAD conspiracy against Pakistan but well, the whole world believes what Amrika says. They even make fun of Pakistan's education system, because they all are jealous of Pakistan. So sad, I know..
@Paki:
"21st century is about to end and they are still writing letters to each other!"
Yeah. Indians still live in the stone age, don't they?
Why are PIA offices in India if they have no flight between the countries? Or are there flights PIA flights between India and Pakistan?
It's strange, a bankrupt institute is spending money on offices where they have nothing to do.
Are non state actors being sent by Pakistan?
"Pakistan asks India to tighten security at PIA offices in Delhi, Mumbai +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Alsi in Karachi Islamabad Quetta etc etc.
21st century is about to end and they are still writing letters to each other!
