Muslims throughout Pakistan rushed to finalise their preparations for celebratinge Eid-ul-Fitr after the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced that the Shawwal moon had been sighted on Thursday.

With announcements came a flood of messages from friends, families and loved ones wishing each other Eid Mubarak either through SMS, facebook posts, tweets or the lesser used practice of Eid cards.

But for the modern Pakistani celebrities, and politicians who may not have had their 15 seconds on television to wish their fans, turned to to twitter.
