Unhygienic Food: 8 people faint from food poisoning

At least eight members of a family fell unconscious after consuming contaminated food here on Thursday.

GUJRANWALA: At least eight members of a family, including seven children, fell unconscious after consuming contaminated food here on Thursday. Rescue officials said Muhammad Nadeem’s his wife Samina, along with their seven children, ate rice and fell unconscious. Nadeem called Rescue teams who shifted the family to district headquarters hospital for medical aid. Those who fell unconscious were identified as Samina, 45, Zarrukh, 11, Zulqarnain, 3, Aroob, 4, Munaza, 6, Kinza, 10, Huzaifa, 2 and Hasnain, 5. Doctors say the family is out of danger.
