Arson case: Court indicts 17 JUI-F supporters
The accused were arrested after they developed differences with the returning officer.
PESHAWAR:
An Anti-Terrorism Court on Thursday indicted 17 suspects in an arson case in Charsadda over demands of a vote recount after the May 11 general elections. The suspects pleaded not guilty. ATC Judge Anwar Hussain announced the indictment of the suspects, who are also supporters of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) candidate, Maulana Gohar Shah. The accused were arrested after they developed differences with the returning officer over recounting votes for NA-7 Charsadda.
