Minister for Science and Technology, Zahid Hamid chaired first meeting of the Committee constituted by the ECC to review regulatory framework for International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) working in Pakistan for facilitating humanitarian and development work.
The committee decided to undertake a consultative process with all stakeholders in public and private sector before finalising its recommendations for consideration of the government.
The meeting was briefed about the current policy and legal framework and the proposals to bring improvement in this framework.
