Boy Drowns: Floodwater inundates Sialkot

A 12-year-old boy drowned in the flooded Bhed nala while floodwater also inundated the city.

SIALKOT: A 12-year-old boy drowned in the flooded Bhed nala on Tuesday while floodwater also inundated the city. Reportedly, Arsalan who was standing near the nalah fell into it and drowned. Torrential rains also flooded the seasonal Bhed nalah, which passes through congested residential and industrial areas of Sialkot city. Rains also affected electricity and communication systems due to which the supply of electricity remained suspended for several hours in urban and rural areas of Sialkot.
