Repairs Underway: Four power pylons blown up in Machh

Four power pylons of 220 Kilovolts (KV) and 132 KV each were blown up in Aab-e-Gum area of Machh.

QUETTA: Four power pylons of 220 Kilovolts (KV) and 132 KV each were blown up in Aab-e-Gum area of Machh on Monday night. Quetta Electric Supply Company Ltd (QESCO) spokesman Mohammad Afzal, talking to Tribune said that unknown militants attached the explosives to the power pylons before they exploded. A 132 KV transmission line was completely destroyed in the attack and the remaining three were partially damaged. Supply of electricity from the 132 KV transmission line was suspended and shortfall increased to more than 100 Megawatts (MW).

Looks like the escapees from DIK jail are back on their duty, as their commander had put it in his gloating message.
