Energy crisis management: Punjab to focus on tackling shortage

Presidents of various chambers and members of the business community also attended the dinner.

ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Government is committed to resolving the energy crisis and facilitate growth of business and industrial activities in the province, said Provincial Minister for Housing Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Tanvir Aslam Malik while talking to president Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Zafar Bakhtawari. Presidents of various chambers and members of the business community also attended the dinner. Malik said the chief minister has decided to set up a small energy secretariat for ensuring investment in energy projects, provision of facilities to the investors and rapid implementation on the projects so that business community could be facilitated in expansion of trade and economic activities. He assured the businessmen that the government is serious about addressing the issue and looked forward to their support.
