Bahawalpur Zoo: Tigress gives birth to four cubs

The zoo administration said they had made special arrangements to feed the cubs.

BAHAWALPUR: A tigress gave birth to four cubs at the Bahawalpur Zoo on Monday.

The zoo administration said they had made special arrangements to feed the cubs.

They said the tigress was also born at the Bahawalpur Zoo.

Zoo Curator Nadeem Qureshi told The Express Tribune that the cubs would be available for public viewing two months later.He said special milk had been purchased from Islamabad and the cubs were fed twice a day.

Shero, who has been deployed to take care of the lions and tigers for 35 years, said the cubs were healthy.

He said special measures had been taken to ensure cleanliness in their cage.
