Current Twenty20 captain and Pakistan opener Muhammad Hafeez was ranked eighth in all-round cricketers in the ICC ODI rankings.
Pakistan ODI and Test captain Misbahul Haq was ranked eighth in the top ICC batsmen.
India’s Ravindra Jadeja has jumped four places to now become the joint top ODI bowlers in the latest ICC ODI rankings announced on Sunday.
Jadeja's career-best rating of 733 has him tied for the pinnacle spot with West Indies spinner Sunil Narine, New Delhi Television reported.
Pakistan now stands at number six overall with 4,294 points in the ICC ODI rankings, lagging behind India, Australia, England, Sri Lanaka and South Africa.
Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly indicated that Ajmal had risen to fifth position.

by looking at pakistan's recent performance in champions trophy it seems pakistan itself is a joke....!!

Hassan ji, the same ranking system had rated Ajmal as number one bowler not too long ago. Was it a joke than as well? No? Why now?
Jadeja has been in a great form and has been bowling very well. He has earned his top ranking. The least one could do is show good sportsmanship and cheer for Jadeja's performance rather than crying foul. . Sincerely!

Why is it always that we start doubting authenticity of ranking system if our players are not in top 3. the same rating system wud have been most authentic one if our player and team would have been in top 3. We need to grow up and start looking inwards to actually claim the top spot instead of living in self denial and doubting others for conspiracy.
