Hasan shines in NBP win at Corporate T20

Spinner strikes early to dismiss Advance Telecom.

Sohaib Maqsood scored an unbeaten half-century to give NBP an eight-wicket win against Advance Telecom in their 3rd Corporate T20 Tournament at the Moin Khan Academy.

Batting first, Advance Telecom were rattled by early strikes from left-arm spinner Raza Hasan as he sent two of their batsmen back to the pavilion for a paltry two runs. They were unable to recover from the early onslaught as they managed just 88 for seven in 20 overs.

Sohail Khan top-scored with 20 off eight deliveries, hitting three sixes as Jamal Anwar chipped in with 18.

In reply, NBP had little trouble in achieving the target as they made 94 for two in 11.1 overs. Sohaib hammered 57 off 29 with three sixes and nine boundaries while Akbar scored 25 with two maximums.
