
Pel, who were missing stars Ehsan Ullah and Muhammad Rashid due to the Asian Games camp, started off in whirlwind fashion when striker Saad Ullah scored in the fifth minute. Asif Mansoor however, levelled the score in the first half before Muhammad Owais gave Pel the lead again. Naeem Riaz scored for Young Blood before Pel’s Asmat Ullah made it 3-2 and sealed the match for his side.
It was the third win for Pel, who are now placed fifth in the championship with 10 points. Pel join Pakistan Army behind the 16-point League toppers WAPDA, Afghan FC and third-placed KPT (13 points).
