Mohmand agency: 26 suspects arrested

SHABQADAR: At least 26 suspects were arrested in Pindyali tehsil, Mohmand Agency in a search operation.

This was launched by security forces and khasadar officials on Wednesday after Dawezai peace committee chief Sahib Khan was killed. Khan was on his way home when an improvised explosive device planted by unidentified militants exploded and killed him. Khasadar official Ali Murad said they launched a search operation with the security forces on the directives of Mohmand Assistant Political Agent Maqsoodul Hassan after the attack. Murad explained all exit and entrance routes of the tehsil were blocked by khasadar officials –26 suspects were arrested and shifted to the tehsil jail.
