KARACHI:
A low-intensity blast near the Manghopir Road, Karachi left two Rangers personnel injured, Express News reported on Wednesday.
The injured were immediately shifted to a hospital for medical care.
According to initial details, an improvised explosives device was detonated remotely when the Rangers vehicle passed by.
Special security arrangements have been made in the city for the mourning processions and majalis organised today on the occasion of Youm-e-Ali.
Officials of the Rapid Response Force, police commandos, the Specialised Unit of Police along with an extra contingent of police officials are deployed at sensitive locations.
