Technical advancements: Liaquat hospital labour room renovated

All efforts are being made to provide maximum facilities to all wards of the hospital.

HYDERABAD: The labour room at the gynaecology ward of the Liaquat University Hospital has been renovated, said Dr Khalid Hussain Shaikh, who assumed the charge of the medical superintendent. The ward has been provided with new mattresses, the air-conditioner has been fixed and the room has been given a fresh paint. The casualty ward has also been given new ceiling fans, said Shaikh. All efforts are being made to provide maximum facilities to all wards of the hospital and during the last 30 days, a number of steps have been taken in this direction, he added. Besides, he informed that the hospital management has introduced the district health information system in the hospital, first ever in any teaching hospital of the country.
