Accident: Four dead as military truck falls into ravine

BANNU:

Four security officials were killed and a dozen others injured on Sunday when their vehicle plunged into a ravine in the Frontier Region Bakka Khel, Bannu.

An official said that the vehicle was part of a security forces’ convoy on its way to Bannu from Miramshah, headquarters of North Waziristan Agency.

When the convoy reached the FR Bakka Khel the driver of a military truck lost control of the vehicle and fell into a gorge, he said.

The deceased and the injured were shifted to Bannu Combined Military Hospital. Three servicemen are in a critical condition while the rest were stable, the official said.
