Snooker: PBSA names team for 6-Red Championship

IBSF world champion Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Majid picked to participate in Thailand.

The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) executive committee has approved the names of IBSF world champion Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Majid to participate in the Sangsom 6-Red World Championship which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand.


The event will run through September 2-7. Asif and Majid were nominated for their performances in the IBSF World Snooker Championship and Asian U-21 Snooker Championship respectively, with Majid finishing the Asian U21 event as runner-up.

The duo will be accompanied by Jawed Karim as their manager.
