The chief justice will hear the case along with the ongoing energy crisis case on the request of Fata Senator Hilalur Rehman.
Load-shedding is a problem for the entire country and protests sprout in different regions on a daily basis.
Residents of Peshawar and adjacent areas have demanded the provincial government to take action against Wapda for carrying out load-shedding during Iftar, Sehri and Taraweeh timings despite the government’s orders to not do so.

Maybe time has come for my PROUD PAKHTOON brothers to start buying things they use, instead of stealing them.
@Zaigham, actually yes, PESCO also is a federal entity.
Dear Mr Chief Justice
Could you please take notice of energy and security crisis on Karachi and push the authorities to sort them.
Only if Karachi runs smoothly, country would generate enough money to provide electricity to these tribal areas.
There is billing in few central areas of kurram agency.but still there is no electricity in those areas.why??and what about the extra taxes paid on food items
"from other side of the border",how judiciary will help into it
Fine. Then pay the bill and get the electricity. Don't forget the arrears.
Those who are lashing out at people of FATA for not passing their bills should know that they pay extra taxes on everything from everyday food items to livestock to construction material in short, taxes are posted for everything that goes into FATA from Pakistan. And I am saying from Pakistan to FATA because the taxes applied on those items are already paid before entering FATA. These additional taxes they say are for all the bills that are not paid. Also there is a flat electricity rate too in addition. The question here is whether the people of FATA are not provided with electricity because they don't pay bills or is it they don't pay bills because they are not provided electricity?
FATA people are responsible for their own misery. Can't forget them to blowing up our transmission lines from Peshawar when they were asked to pay their bills. I am glad the issue has come up to the court.
@ Bilal, What you will say about the recovery of Peshawar Electricity co. is it come under Federal Govt.
No bills no electricity.
Let’s see the Judicial Answer to Energy crisis. People have started seeing the judges as "Botal Ka Jin" who have answer to the Worlds problems but themselves resides in bottle and depend on the benevolence of his master to liberate themselves from bottle.
FATA comes under Federal Govt Not to forget that All who are going to bash out on PTI Led KPK Govt. Ask your beloved N League Govt to answer few,
CJ takes notice of loadshedding CJ remains silent on the assive rigging issue that hit on May'11 2013 (Even after requests to look into)
FATA-ians complaint on loadshedding will carry more wait if they start paying their electricity bills first. Oh wait. They don't let WAPDA even install electricity meters. There is no such thing as free lunches.
in fata they dont pay a penny for their electricity bills may be honourable CJP should take sou moto at that.
during the good days, when i once visited Laki Marwat bazar, i was surprised with the amount of electricity going on and off. I asked one of the friends over there why its like this. he made a joking comment and said, we don't pay the bills so they don't give us the electricity
