Stolen cars recovered: Two alleged carjackers arrested

The Airport Police raided different shisha outlets in its jurisdiction and arrested 10 shisha smokers.

RAWAT: The Rawat police arrested two carjackers and recovered two stolen cars from them. On a tip-off, the police barricaded a road and began checking vehicles. They spotted a suspicious car (LZC-4796) and stopped it. During checking, they found that the registration papers for the car were forged and the vehicle had been stolen from Gujrat. The police took Ashraf into custody and impounded the car. The same police also impounded another car and arrested alleged carjacker Fazal Hussain, a resident of Jehlum. The police registered cases against the suspected carjackers and further investigation is underway. Meanwhile, the Airport Police raided different shisha outlets in its jurisdiction and arrested 10 shisha smokers. A police team conducted raids at different cafes and shisha centres and arrested 10 people while confiscating various smoking-related items. The arrested people include Junaid, Furqan, Fahim, Iftikhar, Umair, Arsalan, Umar, Muawia and Waqas.
