Citizens’ feedback: Govt to collect public’s views about officials

The provincial government has approved of launching a citizen’s feedback collection system where the dealings and performance of government functionaries will be directly inquired about through calls and text messages. A press release issued from the information department, stated commissioners and deputy commissioners will call individuals who visit the authorities to get their feedback on how they were treated. “As the calls will be made through smart phones, therefore, no proxy can be used or the location changed,” read the press release. The feedback received will be instantly available online keeping in view the access to information ordinance.
