On July 13, the two suspects believed to be involved in the Pirabad blast escaped from the Karachi City Court. The prisoners were brought to the court amidst tight security for an identification parade, where a witness identified them as the criminals involved in the blast.
After the hearing was adjourned, the prisoners had managed to flee easily while the CID police officials were taking them back to the jail.
A case was registered against the officers for their negligence. The officers include two inspectors and six constables.
Two of the CID officers - Islam Gul and Hamidullah Niazi – admitted before the court that the escape was a direct result of the officers’ neglect.
The court has asked the police to investigate the matter.

So now the perso who dared to identify them is in grave danger, Protect him before he is killed.
The judges do not let these criminals go free, but in absence/ lack of proper evidence and investigation & weak prosecutors, the case is so weak that the judge have no choice but to let them go as per law, because these criminals cannot be put in remand for indefinitely period as per law, beside, in absence of " no witness protection law " & absence of terrorism law ( which is still lying in Parliament " to be passed by our so called Parliamentarians ).... what one expects ?
what about the judges who let the terrorist go home free.......????
Highly regrettable but no so surprising keeping in view how casually menace of terrorism is being dealt with from top to bottom. These officers should be dismissed forthwith.
