Feminine cuts

The most versatile trend this season — including for the Pakistani wardrobe — has been the revival of the longer hemlines and feminine dresses.  Take a cue from “Mad Men” and the curvy actors who have shown the size-zero look is rather passe.

Supermodel Lara Stone is proving to be this season’s ultimate pin-up girl with her tiny nipped in waist and hour glass figure. But even those of us not as blessed with an abundance of curves can create an illusion with this season’s trend of feminine cuts.  The lady like dress works marvels in transforming even the slimmest of waif figures.

Wasp-waisted or pencil skirts and prom dresses are flooding through both designer and high=street stores.  The stores are over flowing with the tulled skirt look and long hemlines.  These frocks are depicting sweet prints, balcony corsets and tiny waists and are accessorised beautifully with elbow length gloves to keep you warm in chilly winter days and framed handbags for the ultimate chic charm. This season Prada, Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld have ruled supreme on the runway for showing this trend marvelously. They created the ultimate voluptuous silhouette for women of any size or shape.

Nipped kameezes, pleats and zips are the way to go for a ethnic look.
