I am walking for the first time without braces after almost 9 and a half weeks. Feel liberated. So grateful to Allah.

Though the braces have come off, it is just one part of the long healing process where Imran would now have to go through rehabilitation.

Imran had suffered a potentially life threatening 14 foot drop as he was being lifted onto the stage at an election rally in Lahore on May 7, 2013.
The fall damaged his spinal column and left cuts and bruises on his forehead. He spent at least two weeks in the hospital, recovering and three more weeks in bed rest at his home in Lahore.

That's good news. I believe, he was quite fit before flying out. Otherwise how one can bear 8 - 9 hours of flying as a normal passenger, and attend Royal-Paid-Party?? Medical treatment was just an excuse to visit his children and their mom who cannot come to Pakistan for obvious reason.
We knew that it was a 7 feet fall while actually it was a 14 foot. IK you still survived.Thank God. May you get well soon but please no unsafe practices in future like over loading and inexperienced operation of the lifter.Safety is a must.

The man was in Pakistan ever since the accident, getting treated by Pakistani doctors, in Pakistani hospital. Now, that after 2 months of accident, he goes abroad to get a second opinion and advanced medical help, people have issues.

Wonderful news from a brave, brave man! If any of the other lackeys had even broken a finger, they would be grunting and making faces and on at leat a year's leave of absence.
All the Imran haters should really be ashamed of the heartless, selfish and quite pathetic comments they have been spewing--I really hope none of their family memeber's breaks his back because if he/she does, they will know what he had to go through dealing with the possibility of lifelong disability and the excruciating pain, not to mention all the crap Pakistani politics is all about.
