Joint investment: Chinese express interest in ginning industry

The group has offered the PCGA joint initiatives aimed at increasing cotton and yarn export, says a press release.

Shan Dong Ruyi Group, a Chinese group of companies, has expressed interest in establishing ginning and spinning units in joint venture with the Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA).


The group has offered the PCGA joint initiatives aimed at increasing cotton and yarn export, says a press release.

The ginners discussed ways of enhancing bilateral trade and establishing a ginning and spinning industry by the Chinese group in Pakistan, initiatives like new agreements and memorandums of understanding for increase in cotton and yarn export to China, and the opportunities the two sides can explore, review and promote under joint ventures.
