Hussain made this statement in response to the recent probe going on in London against him. The investigations are reportedly related to allegations of money-laundering, murder of Dr Imran Farooq and incitement of violence through hate speech.
Today, the MQM chief said that he will not disappoint his workers, adding that such conspiracies were hatched in the past but nothing was proven.
Hussain added that anti-MQM elements will soon face disappointment.
On June 2, the London police raided Hussain’s house in the city and seized many items in relation to their investigations of Farooq’s murder.
Recently, the BBC also ran a documentary about the investigations carried out in London. MQM leaders lashed out at the report, calling it a propaganda and defamation campaign.

I agree with you most. Other politicians do have vision but they seem to have vested interests. They are protecting feudalism and respective commercial interests. Most of politicians have bussiness interests. Altaf has no other business than his mission.

I would like to protest against the documentary (News Night) telecasted on July 10, 2013 by BBC-2 TV channel regarding Altaf Husain the MQM Chief. The documentary is concocted, premeditated and prejudiced and had spread hatred and tantamount to defamation against Altaf Husssain who is the beloved leader of the majority of People of Pakistan.
MQM and Mala Yousuf Zai both are the prime target of Taliban (TTP), for their love for education, peace, love and harmony in Pakistan and specially for global peace.
My understanding is that the documentary is prepared by fake and premeditated information provided by Lord Nazir Ahmed, Imran Khan and Zulfiqar Mirza (Ex-home minister of Sindh). These people I mentioned just now, their credibility is dubious among Pakistanis.
We hope whatever was shown on News night that hurt the feeling of million voters and supporters of renowned and beloved leader, Altaf Hussain, would be rectified by the BCC 2 (BBC News Night Show) channels and a clarification will be telecast soon.

The only crime that Altaf Hussain have commited, is that he took and handed over the urban sindh representation from establishment (JI) to the urban sindh youth and bring a paradigm shift in the power structure of the country which establishment never accepts. Never ever a position of power for himself or family , a lone example in pakistani politics. He got his family martyred but no seat in assembly is there any one matching such sacrifice. @The Paki!: No, what I mean is that international powers are conspiring to disintegrate Pakistan sooner rather than later, and I don't see any quicker way to do that then to start mobilizing the separatists in Balochistan, and start a massive separatist movement in urban Sindh, under the banner of Mohajir nationalism. If you read the news, and the ethnic rhetoric that is being fueled by major players, you will see exactly what is going to take place. MQM should also adopt an aggressive approach . they should raise the issue of Imran khan support for Taliban who has killed thousands of innconent Pakistanis & still counting but neither BBC nor any other Pakistani media speak up against Taliban & their supporters . people in Karachi are witnessing all this .

A cornered animal makes the most noise. I'm a Mohajir and Karachiite who gave one of my votes to MQM during this election, but quite frankly I (along with almost everyone I know) are fed up with their antics. The writing is on the wall for MQM. This isn't the 90s anymore. The British justice system cannot be bought easily like the one that MQM have been used to dealing with for so long. It's best for Altaf Hussain and MQM to face reality, do some serious introspection and take the steps required for them to move on.
Altaf Hussain is a only true Leader of Pakistan who is fighting for the rights of 98% poor middle class people of Pakistan. against the feudal system since 3 decades..
