MQM MPA murder: LeJ suspects arrested in Karachi
SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam said the suspects were connected with a number of crimes.

Crime Investigation Department claimed on Thursday to have arrested six operatives of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) allegedly involved in the killing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MPA Sajid Qureshi and 25 other killings of sectarian nature.
MQM's Sajid Qureshi and his son were shot dead in North Nazimabad on June 21, 2013.
SSP CID Chaudhry Aslam Khan, while addressing a press conference said that the police teams raided Orangi Town’s neighbourhood of Qazafi Chowk on a tip-off and arrested six suspects.
The suspects were identified as Talha Bin Badar alias Wikky, Muhammad Asim alias Capri, Kazim Ali Shah, Muhammad Farhan, Obaidur Rehman and Muhammad Shahab alias Chota.
SSP Khan said that the suspects were affiliated with the Naeem Bukhari group of the LeJ.
One of the suspects, Kazim was a constable in the Sindh police department.
While quoting the confession of the accused, SSP Khan said that they had primarily targeted people belonging to Ahle Tashi community and the MQM.
They had targeted Professor Sibte Jafar Zaidi and Dhaka Coaching Centre CEO Syed Azfar Zaidi.
Professor Jafar was the principal of Liaquatabad College. He was shot dead by unidentified men on March 18 near Liaquatabad College.
Police also recovered three suicide vests, a dozen hand grenades, pistols and other ammunition from the suspects.
