Water canal breach: Four Benazirabad villages flooded

Irrigation officials hope to complete the work in a day.

HYDERABAD: Four Benazirabad villages and hundreds acres of cultivated agricultural land were flooded by the water gushing out from around 40-feet breach, which developed in a water canal on Wednesday.

The Mian Khan Rind, Dur Muhammad Gorchani, Illahi Bux Talpur and Mian Khan Lashari villages went under water, displacing hundreds of villagers.

Irrigation officials hope to complete the work in a day.
