New castle disease: 23 more peacocks die in Tharparkar
Around 22,000 have been given preventive medicines, while hundreds of peacocks were still sick with the illness.
HYDERABAD:
The deadly new castle viral killed 23 peacocks in Tharparkar district in the last month.
Wildlife department conservator, Saeed Akhtar Baloch, said in a meeting in Tharparkar on Wednesday that around 22,000 have been given preventive medicines, while hundreds of peacocks were still sick with the illness.
