A police party was on routine patrol when the murderers came across three armed men on motorcycles.
SUKKUR: An alleged robber was killed and three others, including an ASI, were injured in an encounter on the National Highway near Mithri, Khairpur, on Tuesday.
Kotdiji SHO Ghulam Sarwar Deho told The Express Tribune that a police party was on routine patrol when they came across three armed men on motorcycles. Deho further said that when the police tried to stop them, the robbers opened fire and in the ensuing encounter Shahid Jhangli was killed while his accomplices,Waheed Jhangli and Aijaz Lashari, and ASI Rehmatullah Solangi were injured.
