ISLAMABAD: Minister of Information Technology Anusha Rahman said on Monday that the government is committed to providing an integrated platform to all technology companies through the establishment of Technology Parks in the country. While chairing a meeting on Monday, the minister constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Secretary Information Technology (IT) Kamran Ali Qureshi, and directed it to make a “Request For Offer” for the project. Anusha Rahman said that IT parks should not merely be confined to IT related initiatives, but should be equipped with and offer opportunities for all the modern technologies to be able to provide help to educational, health sciences, pharmaceutical, textile and all other relevant industries under one roof. She assured the industry that the government would leave no stone unturned in its efforts and soon this initiative would be converted into a next generation transformation and technology parks, capable of housing companies to promote technology.
