IMF Deal: ‘Share agreement clauses with NA'

Opposition Pakistan Peoples Party president Lahore Samina Khalid Ghurki has called upon the government to present all clauses and conditions of the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF)before parliament for approval. She said that the PPP-led government had given a subsidy of Rs1,400 billion to the power sector during its tenure and alleged that the present government had curtailed the subsidy, due to which prices of all commodities had increased. She also said that the previous government had returned $3.5 billion to the IMF and had left $14 billion in the national exchequer.
