Rape case: Non-bailable arrest warrants issued

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Friday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for two rape accused and their production on July 17. The Shahdara SHO was directed to produce the accused. According to the FIR registered by Komal Afshan with Shahdara police, on June 9, 2011 she had been home alone when Adnan came to see her and asked her to marry him. She said he then forcibly took her with him. She said he and his brother Abdur Rehman took her to an unfamiliar place and repeatedly raped her.  Later, she said, they abandoned her in-front of her house. The accused have not appeared before the court for several months. On Friday, the SHO was strictly directed to arrest the accused and produce them before the court.
