SIALKOT: Four labourers suffocated to death on Thursday in Goda-Thathi Bajwa village in Pasrur tehsil. Rescuers said the four men had gone down the well to clean it. Rescuers were told that the owner of the well had poured some chemicals into the well the previous night. The labourers went inside on early Thursday morning. When they did no come out for a while, some of the neighbours shouted to ascertain that they were aright. When no one answered, they called Rescue 1122. By the time the men were pulled out, they were already dead. They were identified as Muhammad Arshad, Mukhtar Ahmed of Hafizabad and his sons Mazhar and Azhar. The bodies have been handed over to their families.
