Expressing confidence in interim PCB chairperson Najam Sethi, the court asked him to continue with his work until a head is elected.
Sethi, who appeared before the court voluntarily, vowed to fix things in the cricketing board during his time as the PCB head.
On June 23, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif appointed Sethi as the interim chairperson after Zaka Ashraf was suspended from the post over a legal challenge to his election.
Ashraf was ordered to halt work last month amid a row over his election, which was criticised in some quarters as unfairly influenced by President Asif Ali Zardari, the board’s patron.

Well done Sharif Courts. Now it is evident that Judiciary is with Sharif Brothers
Poor talat Hussain... he must be having heart burns.
@khan Sahib: Same thing happened to my comments. The moderator is not an honest person, but then I don't blame him. Bigotry, nepotism, and dishonesty are the major traits of our national character.

Like you FIXED the elections?
My comments about journalists, Najam Sethi and the Medial never get published. Why? May be Najam Sethi is a senior member of the Journalist Cartel.
It was expected so from Sherif Court. All citizens must be enjoying what a country they live in 21st century.
pakistan
Well done Sharif courts...........
He should be consider in future "Caretaker Specialist"
in nine hours you should resign
So he is a caretaker again.
Sethi is a good choice as an interim chief. The priority should be to iron out the PCB constitution and get a new chief elected in 90 days. Good Luck.
Good selection of Sethi sahib's photo with this news.
What's special about Najam Sethi that's missing in Zaka Ashraf? I mean legally, how could IHC prefer one over the other, if it doesn't have any bias.
Pakistan Cricket will go down by Kenya Standards........... the political appointments has ruined PCB and Pakistan Cricket. How can you expect Merit in Selection of players when there is no Merit in the highest level of appointment in PCB.........this ridiculous expectation of IHC from Sethi.
My advice: Dont sign MOUs +++++++++++++++++++ Sign Binding Agreements.
